Prof. Dr. Yusuf Ilbey was born in Germany. After graduating from Ege University Faculty of Medicine, he started his urology specialty training at Ege University Faculty of Medicine. After becoming a urologist, he worked at Uşak State Hospital. In Istanbul, respectively, Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital, Bezm-i Alem Vakıf Gureba Training and Research Hospital, Dr. He worked at Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2011 and Professor in 2018. He was the education officer and head of the urology department at the Izmir Faculty of Medicine, University of Health Sciences. He currently serves as the Head of the Urology Department at Bezmialem Vakif University Faculty of Medicine Urology Clinic. His areas of interest include robotic surgery, treatment of prostate enlargement, laser treatment of kidney stones, penile prosthesis, bladder cancer, prostate cancer and kidney cancer.
